Job Title: Project Engineer (Environmental Remediation)

Reports to: Director of Environmental Remediation

FLSA Status: Exempt

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Duties include design and O&M of remediation systems.
  • Conducting research and technical audits on environmental impact of project, analyzing data, and performing quality control checks
  • Communicating with clients and identifying the goal they want to accomplish or the problem they want to solve.
  • Create and implement to track metrics and adjust to reach certain targets.
  • Act as a liaison between the company’s clients and management
  • Designs the features, visuals, and appearance of a project.
  • Evaluate current systems and design innovative ways to improve or replace the existing systems or processes.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Individual must have practical knowledge of engineering methods and techniques and can read and interpret engineering and architectural plans and specifications. Knowledge of Network Analysis Schedules (NAS), knowledge of COE Quality Control System/Resident Management System (QCS/RMS) preferred.
  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written are required.
  • Must be versatile, a good problem solver, and can work well independently.
  • Specific experience working on CERCLA and RCRA projects with the USEPA, Air Force, Army, Navy and AFCEE is extremely helpful.
  • Computer literacy is a must and proficiency with Microsoft (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and Access) software a plus.
  • Completion of USACE or Navy CQCSM training preferred.
  • Current Professional Engineer registration or equivalent is strongly preferred.

Education & Experience:

  • Mid-Level Engineer professional will require 10 to 12 years of experience working in federal programs.
  • Bachelor’s degree in environmental engineering, or related field
  • Master’s degree in environmental engineering is preferred.
