With 27+ years of dedicated service at Bhate, Jim Torcivia brings a wealth of experience and expertise to every project. A proud graduate of Virginia Tech with a degree in Environmental Science, Jim has built a career distinguished by its broad and diverse project experience. Throughout the years, he has successfully led and supported initiatives in asbestos and lead abatement, demolition, construction, fuels, remedial facility investigations, waste management, asbestos and lead inspection, operations and maintenance programs, and risk assessment.
Jim is known for a hands-on approach, a strong commitment to project success, and an ability to navigate complex project challenges with practical, results-driven solutions. With deep technical knowledge and decades of field experience, he consistently delivers high-quality outcomes that meet client goals, safety requirements, and regulatory requirements.
Outside of work, Jim enjoys spending quality time with family, fishing with his boys, and keeping and caring for Japanese koi.
