Dyke Whyard is an accomplished Program Manager with over 20 years of dedicated service to Bhate, having supported all major service lines throughout his tenure. He currently serves as the Director of Field Quality Control, where he provides critical support to project personnel across multiple active job sites. In addition to this role, Dyke leads Bhate’s Special Projects Group, which is responsible for executing complex, large-scale initiatives that span multiple divisions within the company.
Dyke earned his degree in Biology, with a minor in Chemistry, from Auburn University. Graduating in early 1983—during the formative years of the United States Environmental Protection Agency—he quickly became immersed in the evolving environmental regulatory landscape. His career has included roles as a State Regulator, Industrial Environmental and Safety Engineer, Environmental Consultant, and both Remedial and Industrial Contractor. Since joining Bhate, Dyke has led various group initiatives, with his primary focus since 2008 being on construction, renovation, and restoration projects.
Outside of his professional responsibilities, Dyke and his wife Vanessa are actively involved in serving their local church and the Birmingham community. They also enjoy playing golf and spending quality time with their four children and grandchildren.
