Completed renovations and repairs for the storm damages to 70 Military Family Housing (MHF) units caused by flooding and high winds from Hurricane Katrina. As a result of the devastation caused by Hurricane Katrina, hundreds of on-base homes were damaged. Bhate’s work involved installing all new finishes, replacement of damaged interior and exterior housing components, and a final cleaning. The project required daily reporting, interaction and coordination with the Prime contract holder (AECOM), management of multiple crews working concurrently in multiple locations, as well as QC and H&S compliance.
