Tyndall Air Force Base is emerging, undergoing full reconstruction after Hurricane Michael’s devastating impact in 2018.
The DOD’s $5B 7-year program to rebuild and redesign this strategic base, analyzes Tyndall’s vulnerability to climate change and utilizes a forced clean slate to develop a testing ground for modeling climate resilience, leading the charge as the “installation of the future.”
Of the 484 buildings on base that were either completely destroyed or damaged, Bhate has renovated or rebuilt 80, with the support of our design partner, Gannett Fleming.
Our team has completed 11 task orders under the Air Force Civil Engineer Center’s $2.5B Regional Engineering & Construction Small Business IDIQ contract. We’re honored to be part of this restoration, and safe rehoming of the 325th Fighter Wing assigned with defending our nation.
