GSA awarded the Joint Base Langley/Eustis, VA Fence-to-Fence Environmental Services Call Order, valued at $3.2M. HazTrain, Inc. of Waldorf, MD is our teaming partner for this call order. The scope of service is to provide onsite management and support of the Installations hazardous materials and hazardous waste (HM/HW) programs, and air quality and water/waste water programs.
HM activities include supporting the Installation Hazardous Materials Managers (IHMM) and the Hazardous Materials Management Process (HMMP), assisting in maintaining installation’s inventory of System Authorization Access Requests (SAAR) for the EESOH-MIS, processing authorization requests, and training Base personnel on the HM process authorization procedures, use of the EESOH-MIS, and records management.
HW program support includes operations of the 90-day Hazardous Waste Accumulation Sites (HWAS), which is the central location for distribution of HW accumulation supplies, waste tracking, and centralized accumulation and storage. HW activities include waste consolidation and segregation, industrial recycling management, compliance assistance visits, waste turn-in and curbside pickup of waste, facility and container inspections, HW shipment preparation and container tracking, contingency planning and spill response, waste characterization, hazardous waste supplies, equipment checks and testing and facility maintenance work orders, and hazardous waste reporting.
Other Installation program support covered under call order includes storm water inspections, sampling and analysis, annual comprehensive site compliance evaluations and analysis, wastewater sampling and analysis, and air emissions inventory (AEI) data management and reporting.
